In this virtual event, our expert taste testers will walk through a selection of 1-minute recipes together highlighting the flavor combinations you didn't know you needed with TABASCO sauces. Izzie and Karen will assemble these low-effort, high-impact recipes side by side and taste test them live to showcase their reactions to these surprising and delightful “perfect bites.” During the session, they’ll provide instructions for the audience to make these perfect bites, discuss flavor combinations, and highlight how easy it is to have these snack combos at home.

Izzie Ramirez (she/her) is the managing editor of Spoon University, where she hopes to bring an intersectional focus on food. As a reporter and an academic, she works on stories that hinge on culture, climate, and community. She recently graduated with a master’s from Columbia’s mid-career science journalism program.

Joseph Labrador (he/his) is a Spoon University content creator. He's a New Jersey native and studying Bioengineering at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. He loves exploring the city and its food scene, running his food Instagram, longboarding, chasing sunsets, and turning his life into a movie!

Victoria Vargas (they/she) is the junior associate for the Spoon community. As a photographer, she is interested in exploring how the relationships we create with each other impact our perspective. Victoria recently graduated from the University of Florida, where they studied journalism and women’s studies, and served as the photo director for their Spoon Chapter!

Karen Rosenbloom (she/her) is a professional chef who graduated from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island, with an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts. Born in Miami, her professional experience in the fine dining industry includes serving as a Garde-Manger Chef, Private Chef, and Event Caterer. She is currently attending Columbia University pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing.
